Segmentify is an e-commerce personalization platform helping online retailers to optimize their conversion rates by enabling them to deliver a unique shopping experience for each visitor. We build Segmentify using new and powerful web stack (Java, Spring Boot, Cassandra, MongoDB, Apache Ignite, Kafka, React.js, Webpack and JavaScript ES6) and are always on the watch-out for new trends and technologies.

Role

As the Product Manager for Email Marketing at Segmentify, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and enhancement of our comprehensive cross-channel marketing solutions including email marketing, push notifications and other marketing channels.

You will work closely with business teams, including development, marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure that our products meet market demands and exceed customer expectations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and business mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for Segmentify’s email, CRM, segmentation, and direct marketing services.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats across all channels.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company goals and customer needs.

2. Product Leadership:

  • Work closely with development teams to define product requirements and technical specifications for multi-channel marketing solutions.
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices in delivery, security, and compliance for all channels.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies, standards, and protocols in email, and other direct marketing channels.

3. Business Mindset:

  • Drive product growth and profitability through strategic planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional plans for multi-channel solutions.
  • Analyse product performance metrics and customer feedback to inform product improvements and innovations.

4. Project Management:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of product initiatives across all channels.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Prioritise product features and enhancements based on business value and customer impact.

5. Customer Focus:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, pain points, and feedback across email, CRM, and direct marketing channels.
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive product adoption and satisfaction.
  • Create and maintain detailed user personas and customer journey maps for multi-channel marketing.

6. Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the product team.
  • Represent the product in meetings, presentations, and industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the email, push notifications, CRM, or direct marketing industries.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of email technologies, push notification systems, CRM platforms, and direct marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing products from conception to launch.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Passion for multi-channel marketing technology and a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.
