JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our product team and ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to identify issues and improve overall product performance. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
• Ensure test coverage by implementing automated test frameworks and continuous integration pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability.
• Conduct performance, security, and scalability testing to enhance product robustness.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience testing SaaS products, preferably in the eCommerce & marketing tools.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing, QA, or test automation.
• Experience in scripting languages such as HTML, CSS JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience with Browser automation testing (Selenium is preferred).
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Hands-on experience with BDD testing and Cucumber/Gherkin syntax.
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
• Solid understanding of QA processes, best practices, testing techniques, and methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Working knowledge of Java to construct Test Automation software.
• ISTQB certification is a big plus.
