What you will do

  • Develop strategic alliances that encourage customer acquisition
  • Manage all key elements of the sales function including:
    • Lead generation
    • Account development
    • Sales tracking
    • Sales closure
  • Achieve the sales and revenue objectives set out by the corporation
  • Be a leader in building relationships and closing large deals
  • Play an active role in maintaining a winning sales culture in a team environment
  • Provide feedback to the product development group for product enhancements and provide feedback to the marketing group to ensure marketing messages are current

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • An undergraduate degree (M.B.A. considered an asset) with a minimum of 10 years sales experience in the middleware space
  • Proven ability to close large, complex deals, in a changing market
  • Considered to be a leader in both sales skill and technical abilities
  • Proven experience in selling middleware solutions and/or services
  • Take charge attitude, persistence, tenacity and drive focused on finding a way to accomplish your objectives
  • Strong contract negotiation techniques
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills both inside and outside of the organization with a proven ability to connect with clients by using strategic thinking, strong analysis, and planning skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change in both direction and approach
  • Ability to set short and long term objectives in an evolving environment
