Director, Marketing Operations

#CareersThatKickSaas! We are seeking a Director of Marketing Operations to play a pivotal role in enabling a data-driven, high-performance marketing team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will own the infrastructure and operational foundation that drives strategic execution across marketing programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in marketing analytics, systems optimization, and cross-functional alignment to help drive marketing effectiveness and scale TrueContext’s go-to-market efforts.
This individual will lead key functions such as analytics and measurement, marketing technology management, data quality, automation, budget oversight, and project management. This role requires both strategic thinking and tactical execution, along with a passion for leveraging data and tools to drive impact across the customer journey.
Responsibilities:
1. Analytics & Measurement
- Design, build, and optimize marketing performance dashboards to provide real-time insights across the funnel.
- Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making by enabling visibility into KPIs and campaign effectiveness.
- Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations to align on shared metrics and reporting standards.
- Experience with Salesforce and Tableau dashboard development is strongly preferred.
2. Tech Stack Management & Optimization
- Own the marketing tech stack, including contract renewals, tool evaluations, and cross-team adoption.
- Ensure integration across systems (CRM, MAP, intent data, ABM platforms, etc.) for a seamless GTM ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities to implement AI-driven tools to improve marketing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
3. Data Management & Data Quality
- Oversee the prospect and customer account database to ensure cleanliness, enrichment, and segmentation readiness.
- Define data governance standards and partner with Revenue Operations to enforce best practices.
4. Marketing Automation
- Lead the administration of the marketing automation platform, ensuring it supports campaigns and integrates with other GTM systems.
- Continuously identify opportunities to optimize lead flow, nurture journeys, and scoring models.
5. Budget Management
- Manage and monitor the marketing budget in partnership with the VP of Marketing.
- Provide regular budget tracking and reporting to ensure spend is aligned with strategic priorities.
6. Project Management
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by maintaining the key marketing project pipeline within Airtable.
- Track progress, flag risks, and help drive on-time delivery of marketing initiatives.
7. Key Outcomes
- Improved visibility into marketing and sales performance and ROI.
- Enhanced productivity across marketing and GTM teams through operational efficiencies.
- Streamlined and optimized tech stack aligned with marketing strategy and goals.
- High-quality, accurate, and actionable data across the funnel.
- Scalable infrastructure to support intent and engagement data activation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in marketing operations or revenue operations, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven experience with Salesforce, Tableau, and at least one marketing automation platform.
- Demonstrated ability to manage marketing tech stacks and evaluate new technology.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for turning data into actionable insights.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong sense of ownership.
- Knowledge of the field service market or mobile solutions is an asset.
