A little bit about the role…

The Inside Sales Engineer (ISE) ensures that our Customers and Salespeople have a simplified process for the deeper technical aspects of Solink deployments. This role is focused on pre-sale cycles and our “land-and-expand” process providing support on any technical aspect that can help lead to success for our customers on their first deployment and our scale out deployments of the Solink Platform. The day-to-day will revolve around equipment compatibility, customizations and overall solution engineering to ensure we accomplish our projected/desired outcomes. An ideal candidate is someone who thrives in interacting with people and has a deep passion for understanding physical and virtual technology. Someone who has an interest in knowing how technology works within the overall architecture/framework of a SaaS system. Someone with a consultative sales approach or experience in consulting would be a strong asset.

  • You envision, design and sell products or programs you help develop in order to increase your clients' output and profit.

  • You are customer centric, enjoy helping others, and will go an extra mile to delight your customers.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;

  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;

  • Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Perform and validate all camera and equipment compatibility checks/confirmations.

  • Review custom sizing and architecture requirements.

  • Perform and support technical sales demos.

  • Support the Customer Enablement Team on advanced projects.

  • You will work closely with the data integrations team to help manage priorities and ensure they have support from sales to complete successful integrations.

  • You will work closely with the Operations teams to fulfill requirements.

  • You are expected to stay-up-to-date with hardware trends and assist sales stay up to speed on the evolution of key technology that we use to support our platform and customers.

  • You will collaboratively rebuild and manage existing demo environments.

  • Create and record technical sales training videos.

  • You will assist in training new Salespeople and Customer Success Managers on key technical areas.

  • You will attend specific video surveillance training courses to keep-up-to-date with latest trends and expand knowledge in certain areas.

  • You will provide guidance and suggestions to the Product Management Team to assist in bringing the product and services to new heights.
