Technical Product Manager

A bit about the role…

Solink is on the hunt for a seasoned Technical Product Manager for our Platform & Infrastructure Team who is passionate about leveraging cloud technology and technical infrastructure within a dynamic SaaS environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our platform, providing the critical foundation needed to support our product teams in delivering value-added applications.

You will work closely with engineering, SecDevOps, and our cloud provider partners to develop and maintain a robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure. You will play a key role in enhancing Solink's operational efficiency and customer satisfaction to deliver on our mission to help our customers protect their people, profits, and property around the clock.

With a focus on strategic execution and delivery, you will ensure that our projects meet rigorous standards and timelines, solidifying our commitment to "Making the Magic Happen" for our customers.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You possess 5+ years of experience in product management, specifically within a SaaS environment focused on technical and cloud infrastructure products.

• You hold a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, which equips you with a robust technical foundation.

• You are able to crunch numbers and understand the impact a product can have on business operations.

• You are skilled in strategy creation and execution, adept at turning complex ideas into detailed, actionable plans.

• You have a proven ability to make data-driven decisions, understand market trends, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

• You are comfortable in a hands-on role

• You are a strong team player with the emotional intelligence to work effectively across teams to ensure cohesion and alignment.

• You have exceptional communication and writing skills

• You are entrepreneurial and have a growth mindset, with a passion for delivering innovative solutions that delight users.

Bonus if you...

• Have prior experience in security, video surveillance, or computer vision.

• Have a solid technical understanding of data structures, AI/ML pipelines, MM-LLMs, and a love for bringing these elements to life in impactful products.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;

• Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;

• Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Align Solink’s infrastructure and platform strategy with goals for security, scalability, and reliability.

• Plan and oversee the roadmap for infrastructure and platform enhancements.

• Articulate technical requirements and collaborate with product designers and developers.

• Engage with internal teams and customers to understand integration needs and security requirements.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on secure and reliable solution delivery.

• Champion customer-centric solutions that meet modern security and compliance standards.

• Drive projects pragmatically and maintain a clear focus on deadlines.
