A bit about the role…

Solink is looking for a graphic designer who is ready for anything. Our company is growing rapidly and our marketing and sales funnels need the support of a talented designer who can help us design campaign landing pages, create brochures, design some UI elements for our software…you name it! You’ll never have two days exactly the same.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, In-Design and Photoshop

• Motion graphic/animation skill and video production - are you a dabbler in documentaries, obsessive about reels/lives/fleets? Tell us about it.

• Strong abilities in HTML and basic web design so to work with our existing website landing page software (WordPress and Elementor)

• Very fast fingers—you’ll be creating small promo images and ads with very short notice

• A strong understanding of branding and its role in creating consistent visual messaging

• College or university degree in graphic design, fine art, visual media, or related discipline is an asset

• 1-2 years experience as a graphic designer, previous experience in a corporate setting (preferably with a technology company) is required

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Keen eye for detail and proofreading

• Exceptional project and time management abilities, with demonstrated experience undertaking concurrent tasks and managing multiple projects

• An entrepreneurial work ethic

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships

And it would be great if you also:

• Have experience with photography and filming video clips

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;

• Be eligible to work in Canada;

• Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Conceptualize and design print collateral, including brochures, advertisements, posters, presentations and templates, flyers, and event-based collateral.

• Create and develop multimedia content (graphical and video) for all of our marketing needs

• Landing page creation using HTML-heavy apps like Elementor and WordPress.

• The creation of email and newsletter templates.

• Creation of print/digital advertising campaigns across various mediums, including social media, google ads, emails, collateral, signage, and video.

• Design and mock-up for apparel and promotional items.

• Other responsibilities may include assisting the marketing department with miscellaneous tasks.
